The School of Health and Social Care (HSC) is fundamental to meeting this vision by offering a range of courses from foundation degree apprenticeships, undergraduate study, to continuing professional development, postgraduate and doctoral study, as well offering a range of workforce development modules and study days. The school works closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health and social care professionals to provide high quality care. You will be joining us at an exciting time where we are preparing for the future nurse curriculum and the potential this offers for teaching and learning and our future students. 

We are currently looking for a full-time permanent member of staff  either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, depending on experience, to join our adult nursing team. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the delivery of teaching at all levels including undergraduate, postgraduate, apprenticeships and CPD. 

You must possess excellent knowledge of the development and contemporary aspects of nursing practice and be registered with the NMC (part 1).   You must hold a first degree and be either qualified to Doctoral level or be willing to study for a Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or have subject expertise with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
