Research Fellow (MHLCM1197)

Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in characterisation of blood clot formation?  Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

This post will be primarily contributing towards the characterisation of small molecules and how they interfere in blood clot formation and fibrinolysis using a varied number of purified, plasma and whole blood based methodologies, including thrombin generation techniques, fibrin clot formation and lysis including turbidimetric assays, laser scanning confocal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and ROTEM. You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team working towards novel drug discovery.
