Description :

Your discipline. Your passion. Our success, together.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly NMC registered nursing professional (current and valid registration with the NMC is essential) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. A keen interest in developing a promising research profile in nursing/health care and evidence of teaching experience is essential. One of these posts requires you to be a Registered Childrens Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) of the UK, therefore a background in Childrens Nursing with supporting qualifications and experience is essential. The other post requires you to be registered with the NMC in any of the four fields of nursing, again with the relevant supporting qualifications and experience.

About the Role

You will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our nurse education portfolio, contributing to the delivery of our modules on all aspects of nurse education and other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of expertise and experience. We would particularly welcome candidates who could teach one or more of our expanding suite of pre-registration undergraduate nursing and continuing professional development programmes.

You will be expected to contribute to the research profile of the department through the activities of one of our Research Units.
