The School of Medicine Education Centre is inviting applications for the Course Co-ordinator (Derby) post. 

This role will work as part of a small team that supports undergraduate and postgraduate education but specifically this role will provide support for the undergraduate courses based at Derby and will deal with admissions processes and course administration.  The role will also support several key committees and provide a professional and excellent level of support to the Senior Management team. 

The role holder will be an enthusiastic team player, and will be able to work within established procedures with a minimum day-to day supervision. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent planning and organisation skills and have a proactive approach to their work and a keen eye for attention to detail. On occasion, the role holder should also be willing to travel to other sites of the University, for example Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.

Candidates must have A Levels or equivalent plus English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent OR substantial work experience in further or higher education.. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Email and databases, excellent organisational skills are essential.

This post will be offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are 36.25 hours per week. Job share arrangements may be considered for this post.  The role will be based in the Medical School Building on the Royal Derby Hospital site.
