Applications are invited for a Project Administrator position to take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the new Faraday Institution CATMAT project on lithium battery materials, working closely with Professor Saiful Islam, Dr Ben Morgan and the Project Manager in the Department of Chemistry.

The multidisciplinary team also includes groups at University College London, Diamond Light Source, and the Universities of Birmingham, Cambridge, Liverpool and Oxford. 

You will be responsible for co-ordinating project meetings, collating reports, maintaining the project website, and liaising with the researchers on the project and the core departmental administration team.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, an ability to communicate with people of all levels both within and outside of the University, and the capability to prioritise their workload. Previous experience in project administration of research grants is desirable.

The full-time position is available from December 2019 for up to 44 months.
