Student Services is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic professional to this exciting role, with responsibility for co-ordinating a range of disability support services to ensure disabled students have the opportunity to access and benefit from their academic and broader student experience.

Student Services comprises Counselling & Mental Health, Wellbeing, Disability, and Student Money Advice services. The post-holder will have the opportunity to contribute to enhancing student wellbeing and success within the context of Student Services, while working closely with colleagues across the University, the Students’ Union, and contracted external providers of non-medical help.  

Responsible for the Disability Support Co-ordinator team, the post-holder will ensure a high-quality, consistent, coherent and multi-agency approach to all support casework, working towards continually improving services and the student experience.

The successful applicant will have experience of managing a team in a service-oriented environment to achieve high levels of performance; a thorough knowledge of disability support principles and legislative requirements; proficiency in developing and maintaining administrative systems and process improvements; as well as commitment and ability to achieve effective collaborative working across a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders.

This role is fixed term for up to 12 months due to maternity cover. It is on a part time basis working 21.9 hours per week, preference of working pattern can be discussed at interview.
