Are you a professional book cataloguer with experience of working with rare print materials? Do you have an interest in Hebrew and Jewish Studies? Would you like the opportunity to work with a significant historical collection of Judaica and Hebraica?

Special Collections at the University of Leeds is responsible for hundreds of thousands of rare books, manuscripts, archives and artworks. Amongst its holdings is the personal library of Cecil Roth, a leading historian of Jewish History.

As Print Cataloguer (Roth Collection) you will be responsible for creating records for the uncatalogued pamphlets in the Roth Collection and upgrading the existing catalogue records.

You will have experience of MARC21, RDA and AACR2, and an understanding of classification principles. You will also have strong organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to prepare and deliver public engagement events.
