Applications are invited for the Clinical Examinations Co-ordinator role in the Education Centre, School of Medicine, Queens Medical Centre (QMC)  

We are seeking an enthusiastic team worker to join the Education Centre administrative team within the School of Medicine, based at the Medical School, QMC.

The Clinical Exams Co-ordinator will be a key member of the administration team and will co-ordinate the administration of the Undergraduate Medicine clinical exams in the School as well as providing an excellent level of support to the Assessment team.  

The role will provide an efficient, effective, informed and knowledgeable service to ensure the smooth delivery of key assessments. The role-holder is expected to liaise with central support services, academic staff and the wider School.

The post is primarily based in the Education Centre, Medical School, Nottingham, however the role holder will be expected to travel to other hospital sites in the East Midlands as part of their role.

The post will require flexibility, proactivity and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and organisational skills.  The candidate will be required to be thorough and meticulous in their approach to tasks in order to deliver a high quality professional service to students and staff.  Excellent IT skills, including all aspects of Microsoft applications are a requirement. 

The successful candidate will have will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, discretion and be used to handling confidential information. In addition they must also be able to demonstrate initiative, responsibility, flexibility, self-motivation and professionalism in their work.  The successful candidate will have a minimum HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent) with excellent IT skills and proven ability to work to tight deadlines.

This post will be offered on a 1 year fixed term contract. The hours of work are full time, 36.25 per week. Job share arrangements may be considered.
