Description :

Can you provide a high level of customer service? Do you have effective communication and interpersonal skills? Would you like to work in this busy team supporting the applicant journey?

The aim of the Admissions Enquiries team is to provide an outstanding, equitable and efficient service for all enquirers regardless of the volume of enquiries received, the complexity of the enquiry, or time of year the enquiry is received.

We are a first point of contact for the University supporting the applicant journey, answering enquiries about many aspects of the University of Leeds including entry requirements, how to apply, open days, student finance, funding, scholarships and accommodation. Particularly supporting international students, for example through visa-related questions, thus playing a significant role in achieving the University’s strategic aims of increasing international reach and attracting high quality students from diverse backgrounds.

As a result of this, the team is required to have a vast knowledge of undergraduate (UG), taught and research postgraduate (PGT & PGR) admissions processes from application through to arrival at the University, including registration. Admissions Enquiries provides a key link between Admissions and Marketing, contributing to both conversion activity and support through admissions processes.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, competent in using multiple IT systems and committed to professional development, to work in this busy, dynamic work environment where the enquiries received are varied and require up-to-date specialist knowledge of the admissions cycle.
