The Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences is looking to recruit a permanent ARC Project Co-ordinator to provide support and guidance on the system maintenance of ARC, an online solution for recording and maintaining student placement information. The post holder will be providing project management support, reporting to the ARC Manager, assisting with the operational rollout of new ARC systems across the Faculty.

The Role

You will develop and maintain ARC business processes to ensure student records are accurate and comply with University regulations, policies and procedures.Use recommended project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking ARC system developments.Setup and maintain project files, compiling & distributing reports. Provide administrative support for all project activitiesEngage with internal & external stakeholders, fielding ARC related queries and delivering training as required.You will lead by example managing your priorities in consultation with the key stakeholders both across the Faculty and externally.

As an ARC Project Co-ordinator you will work with Course Administrators, Programme Leads, Senior Management Teams, to provide an outstanding service to Heads of School, wider University colleagues and external stakeholders.

The Person

Educated to degree level (or equivalent), you will have experience of working in a teaching and learning environment, ideally Higher Education.Demonstarte experience of working in a project based environment, ideally holding a project management qualification You will be able to analyse data to make decisions and be a confident problem solver. You will be proactive, an excellent communicator and negotiator with the ability to persuade and influence.You will be able to clearly demonstrate the ability to  motivate staff, in particular through periods of significant change.You will have experience of providing high quality customer service in a complex environment.You will also have excellent IT skills with experience using a variety of software packages.

Your ability to problem solve, manage change, act as a team player, demonstrate intellectual curiosity to manage your workload, as well as evidencing your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be what sets you apart.
