The Department of Biomedical Sciences wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Biomedical Science. Applications are particularly sought from outstanding individuals; the successful applicant will be expected to fully contribute to teaching and scholarship at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching across a range of topics but experience of teaching cancer biology, human genetics, proteomics and cellular biology would be welcomed. 

The Department of Biomedical Sciences has benefited from extensive investment over the past 5 years and has a wide range of state of the art facilities, including dedicated Microbiology laboratories, NGS, Mass Spectrometry and flow cytometry. Our staff are involved in a range of interdisciplinary activities across the university and at national/ international level. The University achieved a Silver award in the TEF and the successful applicant will be expected to contribute fully to any future TEF application for Biomedical Sciences.
