A brilliant and friendly person is sought to work in an exciting new facility in materials testing at Staffordshire University. The brand-new Staffordshire Advanced Materials Incubation and Accelerator Centre opens in June 2020 for enterprise, research, teaching and learning use.  The post holder will provide specialist technical skills training and support across a range of testing equipment, from LIBS, to quantum efficiency measurement, micro hardness testing and related software.

The person sought must have a flexible and innovative approach to supporting the technical service requirements, passionate about emerging technology and developing skills in new areas. The role holder will be required to provide an excellent level of customer service with strong people support skills and with the ability to ensure that deadlines are met.
