Are you passionate about website navigation, design principles and digital content? Do you enjoy working with content management systems and HTML code and have an understanding of Google Analytics and SEO?

As Faculty Web Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the navigational structure and content of the University’s school websites for our Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment, to drive digital interaction with our prospective students, current students and wider audiences.

With guidance from our digital team you will ensure that information architecture, navigational structures and design principles are maintained to the highest standards within the school sites, as well as implementing the University’s digital protocols, such as brand guidelines and data protection policies.

In addition to supporting the day-to-day maintenance of the website, dealing with change requests and web approvals promptly, we will want you to develop new ideas, understand trends and provide guidance to colleagues.

You will also bring an interest in copy-writing and multimedia content production for the web and social media, to support the team in developing new and engaging digital content that helps to showcase the exciting work taking place in our faculty.
