We are looking to appoint a Senior Academic Lead in Clinical Pharmacy to join our Clinical Pharmacy Practice team and lead on several exciting opportunities around developing our MPharm undergraduate degree. A key function of this post is to build educational and research links with our local NHS providers and to provide strategic leadership on clinical pharmacy education.

We put students at the heart of everything we do, with the aim of inspiring a new generation of pharmacy graduates who will have a positive impact on patient care and the pharmacy profession.

Our clinical pharmacy team is focused on:

Delivering high quality clinical practice teaching to undergraduate students on our patient-centred, case-based MPharm degreeConducting world-leading research that leads to improvements in the safe and effective use of medicinesDeveloping novel, innovative approaches to clinical practice teaching that is informed by research and breeds inquisitive thinkingWe lead on inter-professional teaching with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and have strong research and teaching links with the pharmacy teams at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust and other local trusts. Additionally, we run several post-graduate modules and courses including OSPAP, non-medical prescribing and an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy.  

You will have a strong record of accomplishment in MPharm course leadership, course design, and delivery of clinical pharmacy education. You will bring with you a research portfolio that shows international standing in clinical pharmacy education and clinical practice that aligns with school's research strengths and interests.
