Our website acts as key source of information for our users and therefore maintenance and development of our web platforms is a critical and ongoing function. 

This role can be delivered entirely remotely, and whilst we envisage this to largely be the case in the short-term, the longer-term aim is for a combination of on-site with flexibility for some remote working.  

Please note that at the time of posting, the intention is that interviews for this post will take place virtually.

This business critical role requires a forward-thinking and highly collaborative person. You'll help us to explore new agile ways of working, integrate best in class technologies with legacy systems and harness the power of data to deliver outstanding solutions to users. 

The role of Senior Web Developer takes strategic responsibility for our Global website development and supporting systems. 

This role will also help shape and develop the new Web team ensuring that best practice and exemplary customer service are observed delivered:  

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead the technical delivery for our global websites working as part of an Agile team.Deliver the highest quality technical components, designs, integrations and templates for our global websites.Support and develop other developers and colleagues across the university with best practice.Work closely with our supporting partners to share knowledge and best practice and ensure all websites follow a development roadmap.Provide guidance and support for websites globally supporting our international campuses as well the UKProvide ongoing technical resolution support to users across the UniversityEnsure web development maintains the highest standards and consistency. maintain close relationships with stakeholders and customers throughout.
