Description :

The Undergraduate Admissions Team is seeking a dynamic and effective Undergraduate Admissions Selector to join our Undergraduate Selection Team. You will join a team of ten staff responsible for assessing and processing selection decisions on all undergraduate applications received by the University by UCAS, drawing on support of admissions practitioner colleagues and partner Admissions Tutors in academic departments. Along with administering all processes related to the undergraduate applications you will also have a key role in responding to queries from applicants and their parents, teachers and advisers using a range of mediums, as well as supporting recruitment activities such as the University's open days.

You will need strong administrative skills and be able to demonstrate independent decision-making within clear guideline and frameworks. Due to the varied nature of this role you will have strong time-management skills as well as the ability to work well independently and within a team setting.

Due to the nature of the UCAS process, you will be expected to undertake a limited amount of evening and weekend work for which time off in lieu or over-time pay will be available. Leave may be restricted at certain times of year (especially in August).
