The Department for Health is seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer (Teaching) in Human Physiology. You will primarily contribute to undergraduate programmes on the BSc Sport & Exercise Science, and Health & Exercise Science. The course attracts forward-thinking and dynamic students through our strong reputation in sports-related research that advises our teaching, and the opportunity to study at a university renowned for promoting and facilitating sporting excellence; the University was named Sports University of the Year in 2018 we are currently ranked 11th in the 2020 QS World Rankings for Sport-related subjects.

You will join a team of lecturers delivering a suite of units across programmes. You will be encouraged to lead in teaching and supervision related to topics related to some of the following; of exercise physiology, the physiology of human health, and nutrition. Successful applicants will be asked to tackle other roles in teaching support such as personal tutoring, dissertation supervision, course development and other administrative activities as they arise.

This is a fixed term position (0.25FTE)  initially for 12 months to cover a period of temporary absence, with a proposed start date of 1st September 2020.
