As Research Integrity and Governance Officer, you will undertake a key supportive role that is part of the University’s research governance framework.  You will use your professional experience to foster and embed a thriving culture of research integrity across the University, and will be providing advice and guidance to staff in all matters relating to research governance including integrity, ethics and regulatory compliance. You will also support and inform the development of governance policies to ensure best practice and adherence to changes in the external environment.

Therefore you will have:

· Experience of Higher Education research environment

· Experience of planning and progressing work activities within general guidelines, using initiative and judgement

· Experience of giving presentation and coordinating workshops with the ability to present information at different levels to both individuals and groups of staff

· Experience of ethics approval processes, ideally within a Higher Education or National Health Service setting.

· Awareness and understanding of the Concordat for Research Integrity.
