Bishop Grosseteste University are looking to appoint an efficient and conscientious Governance Manager within its Quality and Governance team. You will be responsible for the line management and the co-ordination of the work of the Governance Office, including the provision of administrative and minuting support to Council and its subcommittees.

Possessing a good knowledge and understanding of the regulatory arrangements for Higher Education, you will have experience of working with information legislation, data protection, safeguarding and complaint handling. The successful candidate will recognise the importance of discretion in respect to handling sensitive materials and be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, effectively manage a busy and diverse workload and ensure appropriate documentation for use in audit processes.

With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will work with colleagues from across the University to ensure it conforms to external information compliance requirements and to maintain and enhance relevant internal policies and procedures.
