About You 

You will have a solid track record of business experience coupled with HE teaching experience. In addition, you will have demonstrable experience of close collaborative working with other academics and/or professionals. The ability to teach across a range of Business and Management subjects is essential to the role. You will have excellent teaching, student support skills and a commitment to developing a relevant area of the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum combined with an ability to communicate with employers and other external stakeholders and build networks in furtherance of the aims of the school. You will also demonstrate a commitment to delivering an excellent student experience.

About the Role

You will play a significant role in delivering business/management and related modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level, whilst also making a positive contribution to a broad range of subjects across the school. Expertise in the areas of operations, economics, enterprise and/or sustainability is desirable. You will have the potential to produce published work suitable for submission to the Research Excellence Framework, and play an active role within the development of the business school both internally and externally. Professional recognition/qualifications and real-world business experience are essential alongside academic qualifications in a cognate subject.  You will be expected to contribute to the research profile of the department through the activities of one of our Research Units, and to meet the qualitative and qualitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence Framework.
