The School of Management at the University of Bath seeks to appoint a committed, dynamic and self-motivated Lecturer (Teaching) / Senior Lecturer (Teaching). The School delivers a specialist MSc in Business Analytics program in both online and offline modes (as well BSc, MSc and MBA programs in other Management specialisations). The successful applicant will provide effective and innovative teaching, and demonstrate the ability or clear potential to lead pedagogical thinking and developments in the field of Business Analytics. 

The School of Management invites applications from experienced candidates with a record of achievement in online and face-to-face business analytics teaching methods. They will be expected to manage and teach a variety of modules at undergraduate, and postgraduate level online and on campus, supervise dissertations, provide personal tutoring, and other administrative roles. The successful candidate will likely have experience with, for example, R, Tableau, VBA, Microsoft Access, etc. It is also desirable that the candidate is familiar with IBM Cognos, SAS and Python. 

The School of Management is a vibrant and productive community and is ranked among the top UK Business Schools. It was ranked 1st for Marketing (the Complete University Guide 2018) and 2nd for Business & Management (the Complete University Guide 2018). It was also ranked 8th in the UK for Business and Management Studies, including 6th in the UK for world class and internationally-leading publications, in the results of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework.

The IDO division achieves teaching excellence across the School of Management's highly rated undergraduate and Masters degrees. The Division’s teaching portfolio includes specialist MSc programmes in Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Innovation/Technology Management and Engineering Business Management. Members of the IDO Division are also involved in a range of Executive Education offerings.

The University of Bath is situated on a modern campus surrounded by attractive countryside overlooking the centre of Bath, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage City.
