Description :

The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science (SVMS) has established a number of exciting long term partnerships as part of its ‘Clinical Associate’ model: delivering clinical rotations at high quality veterinary establishments, taught by highly motivated clinical educators, and led by University of Nottingham staff. The School is seeking to recruit an experienced small animal practitioner to join an existing team of SVMS clinicians who supervise final year students operating, working up cases and consulting on rotations in the Clinical Associate practices as well as contribute to the development of teaching and assessment relating to anaesthesia as typically delivered in first opinion practice.

Candidates should possess a primary veterinary degree that can be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and experience of working in small animal clinical practice. Part of this role will involve driving to remote locations that can’t be accessed by public transport therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.

Additionally, candidates should submit a CV which gives details of academic qualifications and a career summary.  A statement of not more than 500 words on your long term clinical and teaching plans is also required.

This is a full time, permanent position. Job share arrangements may be considered.
