The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science offers an innovative veterinary course with a community based clinical teaching model with clinical staff supervising clinical final year undergraduate and small numbers of clinical post-graduate students in a network of clinical associate veterinary practices. 

The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor in Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. The role will be focused on equine clinical service in our clinical associate practices, teaching fifth year clinical rotations. Candidates should possess a primary veterinary degree that can be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Candidates should have or be working towards specialist clinical qualifications. Candidates who have been able to demonstrate the development of new clinical services within a multidisciplinary clinical team are encouraged to apply. The role will involve the use of objective gait assessment in horses, and experience in this technique would be an advantage. 

This is a fixed-term post until 31 July 2021. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week), however job share arrangements may be considered.
