An exciting opportunity exists to join our Careers Service, where you will support students throughout their academic studies and help them to manage and shape their career aspirations for the future.  

Your role has responsibility for offering Careers related information, advice and guidance to students studying courses within our School of Applied Social Sciences and School of Education and you will be working in collaboration with our academic colleagues to formulate methods of enhancing student employability and offering presentations / workshops within the curriculum.

In order to be successful in this role, you will bring with you:

Experience of working in a similar careers or development environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with staff, students and employers both in 1-2-1 and group settings. The ability to build relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, and able to work to conflicting demands and tight deadlines.
