We are looking to recruit a Strength & Conditioning (S&C) Coach, from January 2021, who has previous experience of working with performance athletes, preferably in a team sport setting. The purpose of the role is to deliver S&C services to performance squads and individual scholarship athletes. This may include TASS athletes, contingent on experience and qualifications. 

Your delivery will need to be of high quality and integrated to the other strands of the Sports Science and Medicine team where possible. The S&C team work closely with performance coaches, physiotherapists, other sports science professionals, university staff and clinic administration staff daily, therefore excellent communication skills are required. From time to time you will be asked to facilitate continued professional development activities that challenge all staff to pursue best interdisciplinary practice. 

Working across this sporting remit will require you to work flexible hours in line with athletes training schedule; this may include early morning, evening and weekend work. 

The appointment will be made subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance being obtained.
