About You

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly registered healthcare professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. A background in clinical skills teaching and simulation-based education with supporting qualifications and experience would be an advantage.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a Simulation and Skills Education team that supports across the Faculty of Health, Social Care & Medicine

About the Role

You will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our simulation and skills curriculum across the Faculty. The role will involve establishing and coordinating a simulated/standardised participant programme ensuring that participants receive training and feedback. This new position will also involve working with the Simulation and Skills Education team in identifying, designing and facilitating simulation and skills sessions which support the development of the student into a safe, competent healthcare professional. In addition, you will provide support and guidance to academic staff in using simulation-based education and will be involved in delivering faculty development sessions.
