As the Faculty expands its offering of pre-registration nursing programmes, we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer to support the delivery of our registered nurse degree apprenticeship courses

The successful applicant will join a team of nursing academics in the delivery of our registered nurse degree apprenticeship curriculum. You will design, develop and produce learning and teaching material and deliver either across a range of modules or within a subject area. You will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes in accordance with the University’s strategy, policy and procedures, contribute to activities which influence leading edge practice and may also undertake research activity.

For the post of lecturer, you will have a passion for nurse education and will have a particular interest in how apprenticeships can be used to enhance the nursing workforce. You will be a nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and hold a degree in a relevant nursing subject. Additionally, you will be holding or working towards a higher degree in a relevant subject. 

The post is offered as a 2 year internal secondment for existing BCU permanent staff, or a 2 year fixed term contract to all other applicants.
