Due to our continued success and growth, the Psychology Department is seeking to appoint 10 Assistant Lecturers/Lecturers who can offer expertise in any core area of Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy. The School fosters collaborative research and we have a number of active research centres in the School which new appointments can join (https://www.bcu.ac.uk/social-sciences/research).

Applicants for the Lecturer post must have a relevant PhD in an appropriate subject, be actively involved in research, knowledge transfer and/or professional practice and be engaged in teaching students, as well as supporting module and programme development. We also welcome applications from candidates who possess a professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and accreditation or registration with BACP, UKCP or equivalent. 

Applicants for the Assistant Lecturer post must be working towards a PhD and demonstrate an ability to deliver teaching.
