The university’s Innovation, Enterprise and Employability department is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Re-Tune Administrative Officer to support the delivery of Graduate Re-Tune, an Office for Students funded project working collaboratively with Aston University and Job Centre Plus.

The post-holder will work in a small team supporting unemployed and underemployed Graduates to secure Graduate level Job opportunities.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Graduate Re-Tune project, working collaboratively with colleagues from other local Universities and Job Centre Plus, reporting to the Graduate Re-Tune Project Manager. 

The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring: support for the team is given in a timely manner and that it addresses their needs; maintaining beneficiary records and liaising with Graduates and other key stakeholders to ensure the efficient running of the project.

This roles will give the successful candidate an opportunity to learn and develop Project and Account management skills and is most suited to a recent Graduate.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Support the team to deliver the Graduate Re-Tune programme;

Assist in the production of reports and presentations;

Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, eg. Marketing, the central Careers + Team, the Events Team, Job Centre Plus staff;

Support in the organisation and delivery of events, both internal and external.

Is educated to degree level 

Has a demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly:

Word

Outlook;

PowerPoint;

Excel

A knowledge of Visio would be beneficial;

Has the ability to manage competing requests and demands;

Has strong communication skills with the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate;

Has strong report writing and presentation skills.
