Are you looking for an opportunity to use your skills and experience to drive positive change in the NW’s SME sector?

This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) Partnerships & Engagement Team to lead on the design and delivery of business engagement activity around the Zero Carbon agenda.

The role is a key part of the £17.9m Eco-I NW project, led by Lancaster University and partnering with a number of North West HEIs (the universities of Cumbria, Central Lancashire, Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores and Manchester Metropolitan).  Within this project, LUMS will deliver a number of Clean Growth Innovation programmes with the aim of supporting SMEs to exploit Clean Growth opportunities, driving innovation and developing SME support pathways.

You will be expected to lead on the design of these interventions as well as overseeing all delivery of knowledge exchange activity, innovation challenges and more, including undertaking elements of delivery and facilitation.

You must have an understanding of the SME market as well as significant experience in the design and delivery of peer learning or other relevant business engagement programmes. An understanding of the low- or zero-carbon agenda would be beneficial.

You will join us on an indefinite contract however, the role remains contingent on external funding which, at this time is due to come to an end on 30 June 2023.  This post is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
