Teaching Associate/Assistant Professor in Physiotherapy (MED286620)

The School of Health Sciences (SHS) at the University of Nottingham, one of the four Schools in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport rehabilitation and for the allied health professions.

The School is seeking to appoint an Teaching Associate or Assistant Professor to support the teaching and related activities in the undergraduate and post graduate Physiotherapy programmes, and to engage in research related to physiotherapy, neurology, physical activity or rehabilitation. The focus for teaching will include the theory and practice of neurorehabilitation and long-term conditions. Candidates are invited to apply who have evidence of teaching in Higher Education settings, a Higher Degree is essential, or a PhD desirable in a relevant subject, and teaching interests in neurology and rehabilitation. The post holder will be engaged in research and will be supported to further develop their research profile. 

This is a permanent post. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
