About You 

You will have relevant subject knowledge evidenced through qualifications, prior teaching experience or research ideally in the areas of Secondary Computing. You will have real energy and passion for your subject and its associated pedagogy which goes well beyond current statutory curriculum requirements; this will be demonstrated through your developing research interests and your network connections at local, national and international level. 

Highly effective communication and collaboration skills coupled with enthusiastic, engaging and well-informed teaching abilities are essential for this post. Your ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels will ensure that you quickly establish yourself as a key member of our friendly and supportive team.

About the Role 

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding colleague to join an established specialism in Secondary and Further Education. You will be expected to contribute to PGCE Secondary and Further Education programmes, and Undergraduate Secondary and Further Education programmes across the Secondary and Further Education Department, playing a significant role in the planning, teaching and assessment of modules. Candidates should be committed to student success and innovation in Learning, Teaching and Assessment.
