Description :

Staffordshire University is on a journey to become the foremost modern higher education institution in the UK, with an international reputation for excellence, and we are looking for inspirational and effective people to take us to the next stage.

Many of our students come from areas with low rates of participation in higher education and we continually strive to ensure the courses we offer meet the needs of people and employers. We are expanding our non-traditional, flexible study options, particularly in apprenticeships serving the public sector.

You can join us at a time when we begin the next step of our transformation journey. The new £40m Catalyst Building will deliver 6,500 new apprentices in the next decade, boosting both the local and national economy. The development of our offer to new academic areas and geographic locations will see us expand our reach and make an innovative offer to a new generation of students.

We are a university of and for our community: local, national and global. If you share our values and have the skills to deliver our vision, we want to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional administrator to play a key role within the International Office. Working closely with the International Admissions Manager and the International Admissions Officer, the post-holder will ensure that the University values are reflected through meaningful and helpful interactions with potential students, agents, parents and other key stakeholders.

Working within a team with ambitious recruitment targets, the role holder will be responsible for admissions processing and decision-making, from the point of initial application to enrolment, maximising conversion through delivery of outstanding customer service.

The successful candidate will work within a highly regulated setting and will be responsible for ensuring that International Admissions processes are upheld and adhered to at all times, whilst also providing helpful advice and guidance to applicants and enquirers throughout the cycle.
