Description :

Staffordshire University is on a journey to become the foremost modern higher education institution in the UK, with an international reputation for excellence, and we are looking for inspirational and effective people to take us to the next stage.

Many of our students come from areas with low rates of participation in higher education and we continually strive to ensure the courses we offer meet the needs of people and employers. We are expanding our non-traditional, flexible study options, particularly in apprenticeships serving the public sector.

You can join us at a time when we begin the next step of our transformation journey. The new £40m Catalyst Building will deliver 6,500 new apprentices in the next decade, boosting both the local and national economy. The development of our offer to new academic areas and geographic locations will see us expand our reach and make an innovative offer to a new generation of students.

We are a University of and for our community: local, national and global. If you share our values and have the skills to deliver our vision, we want to hear from you.

The School of Design, Technology and Arts has been established to provide high calibre education with full time and part time courses offered at undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and doctoral levels which are delivered flexibly to enable students to continue their education at the same time as working.

We are keen to play our part in the university’s commitment to the design and delivery of new apprenticeships that will meet the needs of 21st Century employers.

This is an exciting stage in the development of our apprenticeship provision, and work has already begun on the siting of a new, state-of-the-art Apprenticeship and Skills Hub, which is set to open in 2020.
