We are seeking to recruit and full-time lecturer in Mental Health nursing to support a range of teaching and learning activities across all of our pre-registration nursing courses. You must be highly motivated and well organised, with excellent communication skills. We are looking for a nurse lecturer to join our future-focussed, innovative and creative team. We are motivated by the student experience and by student success, and are proud to be educating the nurses of the future.

You must hold active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Previous experience of teaching is desirable, however we are also keen to support people making a move from clinical practice to nurse education.

The university offers academic and professional development, including support to gain a post -graduate teaching qualification if required.  You will be supported to follow your interests, to bring your creativity to the development of inclusive and engaging teaching approaches, and to work collaboratively with students and stakeholders.  We have a proven track record of student satisfaction in teaching and learning, and we are keen to become national leaders in the delivery of undergraduate education for Mental Health Nurses.
