The Department of Physics & Mathematics at the University of Hull is seeking applications for a permanent Lectureship (Assistant Professor) in Physics. We are aiming to enhance our provision within the disciplines of Medical Physics and/or Theoretical Physics; as such, you will have a strong research record in one or more of the following (or related) sub-disciplines: Biomedical Imaging (including applications employing Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence), Nanotechnology & Materials Science, or Relativistic Astrophysics. This is an exciting opportunity to build your career by identifying and conducting your own and collaborative research projects, by teaching students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and contributing as a member of a department renowned for its collegial and supportive environment.  The successful candidate will enjoy open access to one of the UK's most powerful High Performance Computing Facilities.
