The University of Nottingham has a well embedded learning offer for its 8000 staff and we offer a variety of learning to people of all levels. We are ambitious for our people, and keen to ensure they realise their own potential. We are therefore looking for an organisation development professional to lead and co-ordinate development activities and programmes across Professional Services at the University.

Our successful candidate will work with relevant stakeholders to formulate and design relevant programmes aligned to our UoN values, behaviours and culture. You will develop a cohesive understanding of staff engagement activities and plans across Professional Services and will put forward a programme of activities to support individual and team development. Developing and producing promotional materials and using effective communications channels will also be key along with evaluation of success and continuous improvement. You will ultimately report into the Director of Organisation and People Development.  This team is new to the University and is an exciting opportunity to bring together a group of people who are passionate about development in all its forms. 

You will have proven experience of developing and co-ordinating organisational and people development initiatives in a large, complex organisation.  You will have experience of working with and influence senior management, as well as communications experience and continuous improvement practices, ideally relating to people  

The post is offered on a permanent, full time (36.25 hours per week) contract. Job share arrangements may be considered.
