About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Head of Practice Education to join the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine You will inspire the delivery of a high-quality student practice learning experience and inspire staff in both their practice and their development. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing & Midwifery Education, Head of Practice Education and Apprenticeships, Heads of Department, and other senior colleagues to help shape practice education and all aspects of school management and strategy, maintaining excellent standards in Learning, Teaching & Assessment.

In addition, you will support the Head of Practice Education and Apprenticeships in the operational and strategic management of all aspects of practice education from marketing and recruitment to alumni relations.

About You

As Associate Head of Practice Education, you will be a registered nurse with leadership experience of practice education, governance, and placement expansion. You will have further experience of working within a higher education setting. 

You will also have excellent emotional intelligence, whilst being an effective communicator and inspirational leader. You will also demonstrate a commitment to personal development, research and scholarship.
