Bar Shift Leader - Wetherspoon at Sanctuary

Full time 37 hours per week including nights and weekends on a rota.

 Grade D1 - D6 £21,777 - £24,530 (Starting pay is £21,777)

A little bit about us: Hull University Students’ Union is a Charity, with a large trading subsidiary; our primary purposes are:

Advancement of education, promoting the interests and welfare of students during study and representing, supporting and advising students.Being the recognised representative channel between students and the University of Hull and other representative bodies.Providing social, cultural sporting, recreational activities, and forums for discussions and debate for the personal development of its students.

Our Trading Subsidiary provides a range of services for students including, a Supermarket, a pub, a nightclub, coffee and food outlets.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service, at all timesServe and present beverages, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standardsAssist in keeping the bar, front-of-house and toilets clean and tidy, at all timesKeep up to date with current promotions and new productsMake customers aware of offers on our great food and drink rangeSpeak to customers to ensure that they are satisfied with their mealsDeal with customer complaints in a professional mannerDeal with deliveries and report and loss or damages to the duty managerAssist in keeping wastage to a minimum by the correct pouring and measurement of productsMaintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and workbooksAlways adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing lawsBe involved and contribute at team meetingsCarry out instructions given by the management team and head office
