About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in collaboration with the University and our industry company partner, Gener8, on the development of Gener8 Spaces’ new Gener8 XR (G8XR) product, which drives their strategic aim to improve educational attainment through the use of immersive and touch technology. 

You will gain experience in both industrial requirements and work environments, and gain firsthand knowledge on how an application can be developed, tested, and delivered. You will also benefit from specialized training and gain knowledge on research environments and culture, and work with experts from different departments of the University in different areas such as object modeling and visualization, and project management. You will have a rare opportunity to learn the latest technologies concerning extended reality and its applications in the real world, as well as acquiring an excellent set of skills in industry research and development.

About You

As Extended Reality (XR) Solutions Developer (KTP Associate) you will:

Be a self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team.Have a drive for learning and enjoy working creatively.Have good skills in communication and organisation.Possess experience in, or a strong understanding of, computer programming, computer graphics/3D animation/AR/VR.
