About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Departmental Administration Manager to join the School of Nursing and Midwifery within the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine. This will be a varied, interesting, challenging, dynamic and evolving role within the School, with responsibility for the provision of high-quality administrative procedures.

You will be the single authoritative point of contact and oversight for the management and co-ordination of all administrative processes relating to Practice assessment, progression and employability of students undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate education programmes.

About You

As Department Administration Manager, you will:

Have experience of successfully line managing staff including conducting performance reviews, setting objectives, providing constructive feedback and providing flexible support during busy times or periods of changeHave IT competence in word processing, advanced data analysis and database management software packagesHave experience of tracking, analysing and reporting on complex dataBe able to plan, organise and prioritise work activities for self and others with the ability to lead on programmes of workBe able and willing to use own initiative, with minimal supervision to solve problems 

efficiently and effectively.

Excellent skills in influencing and negotiation skills.
