skills in managing a diverse and varied workload

the ability to coach, motivate and manage your team

and ideally experience of working with international audiences

We welcome applications from everyone and we value the varied perspectives and experiences a diverse team can bring. Previous experience working in Higher Education is not essential. We offer leading fitness and health facilities, staff discounts and travel schemes, along with a generous holiday allowance and a highly attractive pension scheme.

The University employs over 8,000 colleagues and strongly supports professional development so opportunities for longer term career progression are excellent. We take a hybrid approach to work, with the opportunity to work from home up to 3 days per week when this fits with operational needs.

This is a fixed term position available for 9 months. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 21.75 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
