The School of Chemistry at the University of Southampton welcomes applications for a lectureship to complement the School’s computational and digital expertise. The successful candidate will strengthen our thriving research culture within the triple helix strategy of the University, which emphasises cross-fertilisation between research, education and enterprise. Research areas of interest include:

Computational chemistry for biological, environmental, molecular or materials systemsReaction pathways and dynamicsFundamental theory in quantum chemistry and molecular simulationsChemical informatics and big dataArtificial intelligence and machine learning applied to chemistry problems

About the role

You will build an internationally recognised independent research programme. You will contribute to the School of Chemistry in a leadership, research, enterprise and educational capacity. Education contributions may be within our Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering programmes.
