Cleaner- Jubilee Sports Centre (Part time) (NHE225424)

Your role as a Cleaner: 

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas to join our team of sports facility cleaners at the Jubilee Sports Centre which is based at Jubilee Campus. 

Main duties will include: cleaning a wide range of areas/spaces and providing general and specialised cleaning within the building (offices, toilets, bathrooms, changing rooms, staff areas/rooms, corridors, stairwells, fitness facilities etc) and providing excellent customer service at all times, working either independently or as a part of a team.

This position entails providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team with covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning, and supporting with any urgent requests/inquiries assigned by Line Manager.   

Previous cleaning experience within similar environment and ability to work independently and as part of a team are desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Further details regarding the duties for the role can be found on the attached job role profile.

Hours of Work

Hours of work are part time, 15 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Monday to Friday, between 6.00am and 9.00am) Flexibility will be required.

This position is offered a permanent basis working on a 52-week of the year basis to include student vacation periods.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend mandatory training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings each month. Further details will be given at interview.
