Our Chefs will play a crucial role managing Edge Hill Students' Union's food offer, assisting with the completion of regular stock counts, conducting stock orders and training team members to the required standard. 

This is a highly operational role where you will be preparing food, creating and following recipes, monitoring and recording temperatures, assisting in cleaning and ensuring operational standards are the highest they can be. 

You will have a role in shaping our food offer and we encourage collaboration and innovation within our team. 

You will be supported in your role by management and a team of staff. 

In your position as a Chef in our commercial team , your role entails close collaboration with our Bar & Events Manager to cultivate an efficient environment aimed at driving revenue for the organisation whistling providing healthy nutritious food for our students. 

You will have a passion for, and love creating food which people enjoy. You will have experience in a food service environment and be driven to produce healthy nutritious food. 

Your core focus lies in promoting positive outcomes in critical aspects such as sustainability, nutrition, productivity, and food hygiene.
