Description :

Are you an experienced administrator, with a passion for payroll?

Our award-winning Payroll Services Team is looking for two Payroll Services Administrators, with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail, to join the team. These exciting opportunities will give you the chance to develop your payroll administrative experience and customer service skills, whilst contributing to the University’s strategic objectives.

We are particularly interested in people who are able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision, and who thrive on putting customers at the heart of everything they do. Our supportive and enthusiastic team works closely together to ensure that an excellent standard of service is delivered to all of our customers, and we would be delighted to provide you with full training to support your development.

The Department of People, Performance, and Culture (PPC) has relationships with every area of the University, at both strategic and operational levels, across our teams in Operations, Reward and Benefits, Recruitment and Talent, Organisational Development, Systems, and Engagement and Wellbeing. Payroll Services is part of the Rewards and Benefits team, which is responsible for Payroll, Pensions, Benefits, Expenses, and Systems, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across these areas.

We have two posts available, PPC006 is permanent and part time, at 18.5 hours per week. PPC022 is fixed-term to cover maternity leave until 31 July 2025 or until the early return of the post holder, and full time at 37 hours per week.

We embrace flexibility and a hybrid culture of working, so you will have the opportunity to combine working at our newly refurbished professional services building, Lawress Hall, with days working from home if you wish. Lawress Hall is situated on our Riseholme Campus and is a fantastic space just 3 miles from the city centre, designed to inspire, encourage collaboration, and enable colleagues working in different locations. Ample parking is available, as well as a free shuttle bus for staff from multiple locations around the city to make your commute as simple as possible.

As one of the largest employers in the city, the University of Lincoln offers exciting career opportunities with the chance to grow and develop to reach your full potential. We also offer a wide range of staff benefits, including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year pro rata (plus an additional 14 bank holiday and concessionary days), progressive pay rates, access to discounts at popular stores and more.

If you would like further information or an informal discussion about this exciting opportunity, please contact Claire Kennedy, Head of Reward and Benefits, at ckennedy@lincoln.ac.uk
