MOEDST-24 will be the 22nd annual international conference in the MODEST (Modeling and Observing DEnse STellar systems) meeting series. MODEST-24 will bring together researchers working on dense stellar systems and create a space for theorists and observers to connect. Our goal is to encourage a friendly exchange of knowledge, ideas and tools among groups working on similar topics and research questions. We look forward to hosting a collaborative and enriching experience for all participants. The scientific agenda of the conference will cover a broad range of topics including but not limited to: • Numerical approaches to modelling stellar systems and their constituents, • Observational properties of dense stellar systems in different environments, • Formation of dense stellar systems across cosmic time, • Stellar multiplicity, exotica, and transients in star clusters, • Compact objects and gravitational wave sources.
Topics: astronomy, astrophysics, star clusters, modest, dynamics, dense stellar systems, observations, globular clusters, open clusters, nuclear star clusters, black holes, gravitational waves, compact objects, multiple stellar populations, star cluster formation and evolution, N-body codes, star cluster simulations
