2nd Symposium on New Trends in Nuclear and Medical Physics is an interdisciplinary conference to discuss developments in nuclear and medical physics. The emphasis will be on recent progress in PET imaging, radiopharmaceuticals, protons and neutrons applications in cancer therapy, exotic atoms and nuclei and anti-matter physics. The role of artificial intelligence in enhancing imaging and data analysis, and its increasing role in both fundamental research and clinical practice will also be discussed. Moreover, a separate High Performance Data Analytics (HPDA) training workshop will also be conducted for participants to learn how to work with Big Data and HPC resources. We invite you to join us in Krakow to discuss the recent scientific developments in more detail and to possibility to create new collaborations
Topics: Innovation in PET imaging and hybrid modalities (PET/CT, PET/MRI), Advances in radiopharmaceuticals for targeted imaging and therapy, Radiobiological models for optimizing preclinical and clinical research, Proton and neutron applications in imaging and cancer therapy, Next generation particle detection technologies, exotic atoms and nuclei, Positronium physics in Matter-Antimmater studies and medical applications, Artificial intelligence with a diverse role in medical imaging and data analysis
