MODEST 26 is the 26th international conference of the MODEST (MOdelling DEnse STellar systems) collaboration, focusing on the modelling and observation of dense stellar systems from globular to nuclear star clusters. Topics include stellar dynamics, numerical simulations, binary and multiple systems, compact objects, gravitational wave sources, and multi-messenger astrophysics, linking state-of-the-art models with current and upcoming observational facilities. The meeting will take place at ICISE in Quy Nhon, Vietnam, from 16–22 August 2026 and will foster collaboration between the global MODEST community and researchers in the Asia–Pacific region.
Topics: Star clusters, Dense Stellar Systems, Globular Clusters, Nuclear Star Clusters, Stellar Dynamics, N-body Simulations, Monte Carlo Simulations, Binary Stars, Multiple Stellar Populations, Compact objects, Black holes, Neutron stars, Gravitational waves, Multi-messenger Astrophysics, Star Cluster Formation, Galactic Archaeology, High-performance Computing, Astrophysical Transients, Few-body dynamics, Population Synthesis, Observational Astronomy
