Essential Osteoporosis and Bone Densitometry Pre-Certification Course

The Gulf Chapters of the American Association for Clinical Endocrinologists have in collaboration with  Saudi Osteoporosis Society and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) assembled an advanced 2-days course which  serves to educate concerned healthcare providers about Osteoporosis and bone densitometry.  This will hopefully help to apply international standard practices in Osteoporosis diagnosis and management and to assure quality performance in performing and interpreting bone densitometry studies. The first day delivers the standard knowledge in Osteoporosis, performing and interpreting Quality DXA scans while day 2 focuses on the clinical assessment, prevention, treatment and management of osteoporosis and the essential role that high-quality DXA plays in diagnosis, treatment initiation and monitoring of osteoporotic patients.
